Smart lock installation in Bethlehem, PA
Keypad locks, app-controlled deadbolts and lever sets fitted to your door, set up, and tested with your phone in hand before we leave.
Installed right, set up right
A smart lock is still a lock. The bolt has to line up with the strike, the door has to close without being shoved, and the deadbolt has to throw freely or the motor will burn out trying. We fix the door alignment first, then mount the lock, then do the setup: codes, phone pairing, auto-lock timing, and a mechanical key override that actually works.
You can supply the lock or we can bring one. Keypad deadbolts with no app are the most trouble-free choice for most homes. App-connected locks add remote access and temporary codes for guests, cleaners and contractors.

Good reasons to go keyless
The people who call us for these usually have one of these in mind.
- Kids who get home before you do
- Short-term rental guests and cleaners
- A dog walker or caregiver with a scheduled window
- Never again locked out with keys on the counter
- Contractors during a renovation
- A rental property you manage from across town
What to know before you buy
Door thickness and the size of the existing bore decide which models will fit. Metal doors and doors with a full-glass panel need particular hardware. Most smart deadbolts are a straight swap for a standard deadbolt; smart lever sets are fussier. Tell us the door and the model you are looking at and we will say whether it is a fit before you spend the money.
We handle installation and setup, and we leave the lock paired to your phone with the codes you asked for and the mechanical override tested.
Smart lock questions
Can I keep a regular key too?
Yes. Nearly every keypad and smart deadbolt has a keyed cylinder as a backup, and we key it to match the rest of the house if the keyway allows.
What happens when the battery dies?
The lock warns you weeks ahead, and the mechanical key still works. A few models also take a 9-volt touch to wake up.
Can you install one on a rental apartment door?
With the landlord's permission, yes. Many landlords prefer keypad locks because they can change the code between tenants instead of rekeying.
