Motorcycle key replacement in Bethlehem, PA

Lost the only key to the bike? We cut replacement motorcycle keys at your location for many makes. Call with the year, make and model for availability.

Bike keys are their own trade

Motorcycle keys are smaller, often cut on both sides, and the ignition, the fuel cap and the seat lock may or may not share one key. Some bikes use a plain cut key, some have a transponder chip like a car, and a few newer models use a keyless fob. The right answer depends on the exact bike, which is why we ask for the year, make and model on every call before we commit to anything.

When we can do the job, we do it where the bike is: your garage, the parking lot where it died, or the shop that cannot help you. There is no need to trailer it anywhere.

How it goes

Step 1

Call with the details

Year, make, model, and whether you have any key at all. We check availability of the blank and tell you on the call.

Step 2

Prove it is yours

Title or registration plus ID. We confirm lawful possession as part of the job, same as for a car.

Step 3

Cut and test

The key is cut by code from the lock or copied from your remaining key. For chipped keys we program it to the bike, then test the ignition, seat and cap.

What we cover

Most Japanese and American bikes with standard keyed ignitions, many scooters, and a growing number of transponder-equipped models. Some European bikes and the newest keyless systems need dealer tools we do not carry; we would rather tell you that on the phone than waste your afternoon.

Have a key that works but is wearing thin? Make the spare now. Copying a working key is the simplest job we do, and it is a lot cheaper than originating one from the lock later.

Motorcycle key questions

The ignition and the gas cap take different keys. Can you do both?

Usually. Tell us which locks need keys and we will bring blanks for each.

The ignition has a security cover or a magnetic key.

Some bikes use magnetic cover keys or shutter locks. Mention it on the call; a few of these we can do and a few need the dealer.

How is the price set?

By the key type and whether we are copying or originating. The pricing structure is explained before we come out, and it is the same during all of our hours.
